i moved to the US in 2007 and was pleasantly surprised and intrigued with the success of the immigrant community. so intrigued, i did my doctoral thesis on immigrant entrepreneurs; and launched this show - to continue feeding my curiosity, and to share these inspiring stories that need to be told. now in Season 7, these amazing journeys of success and lessons learned have resonated across the globe. our videos have 3M+ views, 300,000+ engagements and reactions, and growing.

we remain favorably biased toward representing AAPI, BIPOC, and women entrepreneurs. in Season 6 we shared 50 entrepreneurial journeys, from Baltimore to Bangalore. the unique combination of wisdom and hustle that entrepreneurs thrive on, is captured in one line life lessons - which has taken on a life of its own. these lessons are simple yet profound, and often life-changing. please check out our ever-growing collection of 600+ one-liners here.

as you know, entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of our economy. however, entrepreneurship is a lonely journey riddled with hurdles and failures. at The INDUStry Show, we make this journey worthwhile by caring and sharing. be a part of this movement, join us on LinkedIn, subscribe on YouTube, and contribute to our cause for a tax-exempt donation.

lyra aaryahi

editor-in-brief

lyra aaryahi is the co-founder of Galaxy Sisters. lyra is passionate about cooking (and eating), and has a keen eye for design. she is an astute hoverboarder and an uninterested road cyclist. lyra recently completed the fairly easy Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike, 27 miles (43.5 km) and 6000+-ft, of elevation in a day. she plans to go again soon, running it as a marathon this time. she has completed several 5K runs in the terrains of SoCal. lyra is a trained classical dancer and is obnoxiously tall.

mohini todkari

head of production

mohini todkari is a software engineer and developer evangelist from 9-5, a production whiz from 5-9, and a beauty sleeper in-between. mohini is the co-founder of BombayMade - a corporate gifting service for custom, handmade products. she is an untrained photographer and reluctant geographer. mohini runs marathons for relaxing and eats cheesecake to stay fit.

nimisha lotia

chief whip

nimisha lotia is the Principal at SeaCastle Insurance, Inc. - a full-service insurance brokerage, serving clients across the US. nimisha has led various customer success, marketing, and innovation initiatives at Fortune 500 companies globally. she ran the Los Angeles marathon in 2020 to mark the beginning of the pandemic, along with 110,000 others.

nitin bajaj

founder, host

nitin bajaj is a two-time college dropout that, like everything else he does, stumbled to a doctorate degree. a non-life-saving doctor, nitin has brought several industry-first products to life and led teams for global giants such as Esri, IBM, and Thomson Reuters. he continues to make tons of mistakes and claims to learn from them. he loves to hike, stand-up paddleboard, and is too lazy to overcome his fear of water.

reva saunskruti

quality

reva saunskruti is the co-founder of Galaxy Sisters. reva enjoys seeing the world upside down, asking lots of questions, and talking - at the speed of light. reva is one of the youngest to complete the grueling Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike - 27 miles (43.5 km) and 6000+-ft of elevation, in a day. yes, same hike as our editor-in-brief lyra, albeit a lot more difficult and no plans for a redo, yet. reva is a trained classical singer and loves to sing pop. she is irregularly short for her age. it doesn’t stop her from overseeing quality at The INDUStry Show (mostly pointing mistakes and making fun of our host).

credits

as with growing anything meaningful, it takes a village. we are no different in that respect. there have been countless that have helped us help others, and we know there will be several more. to name a few: Manu Shah for lighting the initial fire, making us believe in ourselves, ensuring we dream big, and then live up to it. Anand Gala for being the rock, soul, and guiding light. Ash Patel for being the visionary, and for literally giving us wings. Rajiv Satyal for ideating on the name, and hosting Season 1.
